Enrollment
in a Vision Quest Program
Enrolling in
a vision quest involves choosing a date or dates
for participation, filling out the registration
form, and placing a deposit to secure your
space. Programs are kept small to guarantee personal
attention and feedback (limited to a maximum of
8 participants) and are filled on a first-come,
first served basis.

Registration,
Costs, and Cancellations
The fee for
a vision quest program is $750
if a participant registers a month or more in
advance, and $800 thereafter.
Advance registration with a non-refundable deposit
of $300 is required, with the
balance due 30 days prior to the start of the
program. Think seriously about whether you are
ready to do this before you commit. Indecision
and anxiety, especially as the quest dates approach,
are a common experience, and the choice to act
from our purpose and intention rather than our
fears is an important and empowering decision.
Should unavoidable circumstances make your participation
impossible, your deposit may be applied toward
a future program if you notify us at least a month
prior to your scheduled starting date. You will
receive a full refund for any courses canceled
by Circles of Air and Stone, although this happens
rarely.
If your
intent to undertake a quest is sincere and you
cannot currently afford the full cost of the program,
payment plans and partial assistance or barter
are sometimes available.
Upon receipt
of your registration form and deposit, you will
be sent a packet containing a book and other information
on preparation, transportation, recommended readings
and an equipment list. In addition, you will be
expected to write a letter of intent and return
a health questionnaire and liability release form.
Scheduling
The
experience of a vision quest is profound and often
marks a pivotal point in major life transitions.
We highly recommend that you declare your intention
early to allow for a thorough preparation. Early
enrollment facilitates scheduling since courses
often fill up; it makes travel arrangements simpler
and more economical, and prevents any unnecessary
cancellation of programs. Vision quests and other
programs may also be scheduled to meet the needs
of already-existing groups. These may range from
a weekend to extended stays or pilgrimages into
the wilderness, and can be focused around various
purposes. Often existing groups - friends, support
groups, etc. - choose to undertake a quest together
to deepen their relationships to Spirit and each
other or accelerate a healing process. Costs and
logistics will be worked out between the parties
involved. Inquiries are welcome.
